San Diego Carpet Store And Carpet Installation Specialists
There is nothing quite like San Diego carpet flooring to really
transform a room from a simple living area into a focal point for family
and friends to gather. San Diego Carpets come in many shapes, styles,
textures, colors and patterns. Choosing the right carpet installation
for your home in Southern California can be a challenging task. There
are many other costs associated with purchasing carpets that the buyer
is not aware of.
Today’s carpet offers a wide variety of choices in style, fiber
composition and color. Gone are the days of having to select only
conventional loop pile, a carpet style consisting of yarn in uncut
loops. New technology can produce multilevel loop and cut-loop patterns
allowing diamond, bow, pin dot or fleur-de-lis designs that “pop out” in
sculptured effects. The texture, colors and pattern of the carpet can
complement or contrast with patterns of your furniture and window
treatments. Using a solid color, textured carpet is a great way to
provide interest and pizzazz, without going to a multicolor, overall
pattern. Textured styles also fit well with today’s active and casual

Apart from the obvious aesthetic values of San Diego carpet flooring,
they all feel great to walk on and these days even with children and
pets to worry about, today’s stain protection is extremely good. Even
stains caused by the dreaded red wine are no longer a worry. When
considering a new carpet in San Diego give some thought to where it is
going to be used and what the traffic flow will be like over it.
I used SD Flooring & Design for both carpeting and vinyl work. I found that their pricing was pretty reasonable and I was happy with their selection. They brought in two different crews to do the work. The carpeting crew was great! They showed up on time, were polite, and made sure to explain everything to me. They cleaned up well after themselves as well. If it were the carpet crew alone, I would give them a 4 or a 5 for workmanship and customer service. However, the vinyl crew was terrible. The guy who did the work was extremely unreliable. He never showed up when he said he would. Even the boss was flaky and often came at the wrong time. This was frustrating to me because I don't live at this house, so every time they showed up at the wrong time, I had to drive about 20 minutes to go let them in. He was also really rude to me! He did not answer my questions. When he finished, I thought it was really poor workmanship. They are supposed to come back next week and fix the problems with the flooring. So, I guess we will see how it goes. I am still willing to give them a second chance, but I'm really disappointed with the crew so far. If you are thinking about using them, I would say that they are fine to buy from, but if you are looking for vinyl flooring, find your own contractor!
